Entries received after the closing date may be accepted at the Race Organiser's discretion.

Categories:
The Girvan Cycle Race has been classified by British Cycling as a 'National A' event, open to Elite, 1st and 2nd category licence holders. We regret that, following the introduction of British Cycling's Competition Review in 2006, we are unable to accept entries from third or fourth category licence holders.
Teams:
In
2008 the National Premier Calendar Road Race Series Regulations
were amended to stipulate a maximum team size of eight riders. The Race Organiser will give preference to nominated teams of four to eight riders but can usually accommodate a number of individual entrants who will be grouped, at the Race Organiser's discretion, into named, composite teams.

The race entry fees for 2009 are:-

Anti Doping Policy:
The Girvan Cycle Race supports drug free sport. Individuals involved in the use, administration or supply of prohibited substances or methods are not welcome at the Girvan Cycle Race. Please read our Anti Doping Policy.

Please indicate on the entry form if you wish to be nominated as a reserve in the event of the race being oversubscribed.

Race Regulations:
The race is organised under the Byelaws of Scottish Cycling and the Technical Regulations of Scottish Cycling, British Cycling and the Union Cycliste Internationale. British Cycling’s 2009 National Premier Calendar Road Race Series Regulations apply.
